How do I claim a book that is already borrowed by another member ?
How can I become the member of GST Library?

Go to the library, pick up the books you like to borrow, carry these books to the Circulation Counter. Show your ID Card. The library staff will assist you in getting these books issued to you.

How can I borrow books?
Any photocopying facility available at Library?

Charged @ Re.01 per page single side (black & white) for students. The facility is free for Faculty members. Only Central Library books/journal articles will be allowed for photocopy, within the permissible pages as per the Copy right rules.

Immediately report to the Circulation staff, Central

Library for lost of book and or  replace a new/latest edition/copy of the same to the library at the earliest.

What should I do if lost the issued Books?

Bring all books back to the library and get them renewed at the Circulation Counter. A document can be renewed twice, upon which it needs to be returned back to the Central Library.

How do I renew/reissue the books already borrowed?

 Students, Faculty and staff of GST are bona-fide members and no other formality is required. As soon as you get your ID Card, please visit the library to activate your membership.

Is there any fine for books returned after due date?

Yes, a member is required to pay fine as per the late fee structure, if he/she fails to return the books within prescribed period of time

How do I recommend a book for purchase in the Library?

Faculty, Students and staff can recommend books (including      e-books, reports, theses, patents, standards etc) for purchase by the library.
